NDIS Capacity Building Support
Helping you build the emotional and practical skills to live a more empowered life.
Living with a disability, whether physical, neurological, or psychosocial, often affects more than just one area of life. It can shape how you see yourself, how you cope with change, and how connected you feel to the world around you.

I’m Samantha Seymour, a trauma-informed Counsellor and capacity-building practitioner with lived experience of Multiple Sclerosis. I provide tailored support under the NDIS Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living category, helping participants build the skills and resilience needed to navigate life with more confidence, clarity, and control.

What is Capacity Building?
Capacity building is all about supporting you to increase your independence, emotional resilience, and ability to participate in everyday life. This might look like:

-
Strengthening emotional regulation and coping strategies
-
Building self-confidence and communication skills
-
Developing sustainable routines and structure
-
Reconnecting with social, work, or community life
-
Gaining insight and motivation to move forward
This is not clinical or diagnostic therapy; it's a practical, participant-led approach that aligns with your NDIS goals and helps you function more effectively across life areas.

Sessions Include:
-
1 hour of tailored support
-
Emotional wellbeing support, goal tracking, and functional skills development
-
A safe, compassionate space to explore challenges and build capacity at your own pace

I can provide a professional support letter that clearly explains how this service supports your capacity to manage day-to-day life, including things like motivation, confidence, emotional regulation, and reconnecting with community.

This support is not clinical therapy, but a capacity-building service focused on strengthening your functional wellbeing and quality of life.
